What’s the best way to learn about changes in today’s classrooms? Talk to current teachers. The curriculum for the Master of Arts in Education and Innovation degree is based on feedback from program alumni and other educators around the world. With this degree, you’re prepared to advance student learning, creativity and innovation by incorporating the latest educational tools, technologies and resources.

The innovation doesn’t stop when you graduate. Our program enables you to consistently improve your teaching skills, model lifelong learning for your students and exhibit leadership relevant to today’s global and digitally savvy classrooms.

You can pursue a thesis or non-thesis track. The thesis track includes two areas of emphasis: Education for Global Sustainability (EFGS), and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). On the non-thesis track, you’ll select a specialization or program theme.

The master’s degree in Education and Innovation is accredited by NCATE and DESE and focuses on improving teacher performance in increasingly interconnected classrooms – not just locally and nationally, but also at the global level. Special international travel/study tour courses and field-based special institutes are also available.
