National Security Studies (MA)

The nature of securing our country from threats, both internal and external, has changed drastically within the last decade. In fact, the landscape of national security continues to evolve, and the need for innovative, critical thinkers in this field is also growing.

The MA in National Security provides students with a multidisciplinary approach to the actors, institutions, contexts and ethics at play in national security decision-making. You’ll be able to apply theories and techniques to real-world examples and think critically about the implications of national security policy and outcomes. This broad approach provides students with the foundation to then hone in on a particular specialization in one of three tracks: international and regional security, cybersecurity, or criminal justice.

Whichever track you choose, you’ll graduate armed with the skills and knowledge that will make you indispensable in protecting our nation from threats.

Apply today to make a difference in the field of national security.
