Media Communications (MA)

The old adage goes, “The medium is the message.” Yet, with the rapid evolution and innovation in today’s media, the possibilities are always changing. Webster University’s Master of Arts in Media Communications explores the relationship between changing technology, changing cultures and how communications impact all aspects of our lives — including government, business and society.

Our program is designed for media professionals looking to advance their career and enhance their credentials. As a graduate, you’ll understand and analyze the breadth of media communications in societies around the world. Over the course of your classes, you’ll examine media from multiple perspectives and in multiple contexts, such as cultural, economic and political. You’ll also consider how media can be a product, a process and a vehicle for commentary.
